Yupp I ended up at Dominos again couldn't wait on hotel restaurant to open. I had too wait one and half hour so a quick walk to the local mall, widowshopping, food and I will probably a bottle of Indian Whiskey for later ;-)

Phoenix MarketCity

Yes it is cloudy otherwise I had not gone out, it get too hot in the sun, well it is the monsun period right now so clouds here are actually welcome by the people(farmers?). However I went once again to this MegaMall and were after some new shirts from GANT as my Swedish colleagues had recommended but I could not find any shirt that would fit my taste, meeh, no black onces ;-) I have been to alot of MegaMalls and most of them in Bangkok and this one is a really good one. I recommend it if ever come here. I should say I want some BIG brand shirt as now it is MONSUN SALE!!! Me like! Maybe another day.

Prison food?

Lunch place at the company serves vegetarian food only, it is ok most of the times, simple and cheap.
45 Rupies it's like 6 Swedish Krones but without any drinks, well you can get some water but as fellow colleagues don't drink it Im do not either. Still water is from 20 litres bottles so it should be safe drinking it. I usually bring a 50 cl water bottle from the hotel, which should be more.

Dengue fever!?!

At dinner last night I merly sat down until a fly came by and bit me on the neck and this morning on the TV news they said another Indian had died in Bangalore due to Dengue fever so of course Im a little worried but the chance of getting it is almost zero but still 18 people have died.

Yepp tonight it were not many guest joining the "festival" as one of the staff said as I asked him, this for all the Asian people that actually is staying at the hotel, many chinease and ..., I have seen a couple of Japanese.
To much food and a complimentary Beer or Wine so I tasted a glas of Indian Wine, yupp very fine ... yes ... if any body have tasted like Castillo de Grekko or something, I don't remember the name, then you'll know ...

There is a "festival" again here in India for three days so the Hotel is preparing for tonights event by arranging stuff outside and also some new lamps have gone up in the celing.
Tomorrow evening I probably join and eat some oriental food which I actually really like. Now Im confortable with eating Indian food.

A quick walk to the Mall, looked around and around and around, yupp a really large place, found an Adidas store a bought a pair of "training" shoes, I will definetly go back. As it was lunchtime I had a chickenburger at KFC ... pretty ok.

Internet issue 2

Yepp it was only a crappy hardware connection and now I understand why it worked sometimes and sometimes not because Im fiddling around with my charges and so, at the left side you see the power connection and to the right the somewhat faulty hardware ...

Internet issue

I just called the reception and said "I have a Internet connection problem", "OK, I send an IT-guy to your room he'll be there within five minutes Sir," " Eeeh OK!?!?!" I was a little suprised but still it is a 5 star hotel, the IT-guy certaintly had the competence to do the job,  even that supriced me, first I explained the problem and he understood and found the problem within minutes. God damn good job, ok if I had this problem at home I had found it as easy but I am impressed about the service and knowledge.

yupp today I went to a mall called Forum Value Mall and it is really nice, it have the everything but a bar ;-). I might go there tomorrow as well. As Im in not such good shape after yesterday nights afterwork I only looked around and ate a pizza.

After work last night

It was friday yesterday and we went to the COSMOS Mall the great mall I wrote about a couple days ago but this time we went to the top floor that have a Sportsbar. There we had some dinner and a coule of pitchers. It was a really nice time, the guys were me, Roger a Swedish colleague and Mikko a Finnish guy, these two are actully staying here in India for years ... it was really interesting here them telling there stories about India and the Indien way(s) of doing things. Maybe more about that some other time, it really got late and I was home at 2 o'clock after having a wiskey at Roger house as a "sängfösare".
Unfortunatly I did not take any pictures.

Im so tired and sleepy today ;-)

Royal Orchid Suites

I got yet another accomadation tonight and Im very pleased. This hotel and this suite is topclass and I will stay until I go home which is at the 7:th of September.

Cosmos Mall

I got really bored at this complex that Im staying at so I search the net and found a mall just a coule of hundred meters from my stay. So let's wonder there for a couple of hours and then  have a beer or two at the bar. First of all, WTF and then I couldn't even find the bar so I went for some grosseries instead and then too get a beer from the liquorstore. So there the BIG sign was when Im trying to get the escalators and go "home" damn the bar is upstairs and you need to take the elevator.
This mall sucked big time, worst ever but you could probably find stuff that you might need if you try ;-)

Service appartrment

Hmm OK what is this?
If I had known this then I had never areed on this, I said if im gonna stay here for a full month I will need a kitchen so I can cook some food for my self at night but I do not want share it with 2 other guys and share living room, share tv and so on. The place at a whole seems rather fine actually, I'll post some pictures later.
Tomorrow I will be back in the office so I will arrange something else. The Bunker had it's advantages.

One funny thing is that somehow they who arranged this said to the projectleader that I have seen this appartment and agreed to having it. NO I haven't and actually i thought I was going to another place and not this place.

I couldn't get payment for my new phonecard via an online service so a swedish friend here in Banglore payed it online and now Im waiting for it to be activated, the strange thing ... wait nothing should suprise me here in India, however I didn't get mess saying YOU NEED TO ACTIVATE IT, but I got 7 other messages telling me that I could get something for "free" and do this and that to ... bla bla bla so I went online because calling them should probably as difficult to manage as doing it online I though but as it seems it was pretty easy online ... if it will work.
Getting a private phonecard is not simple due too some terrorist attacks some years ago, papers papers and then copies copies and a newly taken passphoto ... whaaaat yeah OK I can understand the terrorist threat so OK.
Im sad that's has to be this in any country.

Cloding to look proper
